July 28, 2008
The season has ended for another year and the Forum will now be closed. Enjoy the rest of your summer and see you next year.

July 24, 2008
The Stunners can not field a team after today so they will be forfeiting the rest of their games. As well picked last in gym class is in the same boat and will also will be forfeiting.

July 23, 2008
We scheduled 2 games at the same time in the E division that need to be staggered.
Game 13 is going to be moved to Friday at 7:40 on diamond 1 instead of Saturday morning.

July 22, 2008
We have had some forfeits in playoffs. If you are scheduled to play any of these teams you will take a win and move on to the next game.

  • Vendetta
  • Sound Garden Cougars
  • Kainaii Renagades
  • CT Legends
  • MNP Swingers
  • Midnight Express
  • Pawtucket Patriots

  • As well due to the forfeits in the D and E divisions there will only be 2 teams in either of the concellation brackets. Those 2 teams will play in the finals at 4:30 saturday and will skip the semi final round.

    July 21, 2008
Here are a few adjustments and reminders for the playoffs.
We Had some problems with getting balls this year so please bring your own balls to playoffs(Each team will supply 1 men's and 1 ladies ball per game), we will have new balls for the finals.

The B-E Divisions have been able to play with earrings, chain's, sunglasses on their hats, etc. During playoffs we will be using SPN umpires and you will be called out for any sort of jewelry.

If any team forfeits a game during playoffs, they will be eliminated from the playoffs!

We made an Error in the D Playoffs. Game 2 says it's scheduled for 6:15 and it is actually scheduled for 7:40.
Game 3 says it's scheduled for 7:40 and it's actually scheduled for 6:15, same diamond, same teams for both. Other than that I think were OK.

You can find the playoff draws here. The number that matches up to your team name below is the ranking you have for playoffs. Many teams have dropped out of playoffs and that is why the season rankings may be different than the playoff rankings.

Sorry we got the playoff schedule out so late, but we had 50 games scheduled for Sunday that made a huge difference in the overall standings. I would have liked to get them out earlier but it was impossible with all the makeup games going today.

    July 20, 2008
The playoff draws and master schedule is now available on the SCHEDULES page

    July 17, 2008
We need the votes for most sportsmanlike teams in each division ASAP. These trophies will be given out on playoff weekend.

    July 13, 2008
The last of the make-up games are posted on the FORUM . They finish up Sunday July 20th and our playoffs start Monday July 21st. You must call in your scores right after you are done playing! We are going to need them to set our playoff draw that night. Also any outstanding scores that are not in need to get phoned in please. If you do not call in your win it will be registered as a tie. There will be no horn so be aware of your time limits, no new inning after 1hr 10 min. with 5 draws lets try to stay on time please.

Also any team not wanting to play playoffs please let me know by Wednesday so we can get our draws set and umpires scheduled. If you forfeit a playoff game it is the same as forfeiting a league game and your team will be charged the $50 performance bond. Playoffs will run on the 21,23,25,26 and 27th of July this year ending on the Sunday not the Saturday.

    June 19, 2008
It has been brought to our attention that there may be teams bringing beer into the diamonds. If you are caught with alcohol from outside, you will be banned from Softball Valley. Being banned from the valley means you are done playing ball too. You are messing with their liquor license by doing this as well and are effecting a lot more people than just yourselves. I would not want to be the team responsible for the Valley losing their beer license. There would be a lot of very unhappy ball players. Please follow the rules.

    June 18, 2008
Be sure to check the FORUM for make-up game information

    June 13, 2008
These are the teams we have not received SPN rosters from yet. If I have not spoken with you and are on this list you need to get them in before you play another game. If we do not have your rosters in by today your games will be taken off the schedule until they are in. This is an insurance issue and needs to be taken care of immediately. If you are on this list and have handed in your roster please let Tyler know (email).

There are still some teams who have not turned in their SPN rosters or listed their rosters on line. If the SPN rosters are not turned in by Friday June 13th, all games for the teams not rostered will be cancelled. It is a huge liability to not have then turned in. All teams that don't have their rosters on-line by the same time will not be playing playoffs. Their will be no exceptions. It is the team rep responsibilities to get this done.

We have grown to 62 teams this year and we are looking forward to another great season. Playoffs are the last week in July with the finals going on Sat July 26th.
